For the past ten years I have put up with dry skin on my face. I have tried numerous products some have worked for a short while and then the same problem reoccurs. With this product(I have used it connsistently for 3 months) the dryness has gone away! Until I read a couple of the other reviews I had not thought too much about the smell, the lotion is fast drying and after a few seconds the smell of the vaseline isn't even noticable. The way I see it if the product does what it claims to do be happy with that!

I purchased this lotion to try to relieve my dry itchy skin. Just about every lotion I try still leaves me flaky on my legs. While the lotion does moisturize, I can't shake the feeling that I'm sweaty and dirty. It's oily and greasy, and leaves me with an uncomfortable "need a shower" feeling. On that note, the scent, as one reviewer commented is horrible. It's pungent, heavily spiced, and some of you may know exactly what I mean by this, smells EXACTLY like English Leather cologne. Nauseating at best, BUT a VERY effective moisturizer. I would recommend DOVE Hydro instead. It actually contains vitamins and nutrients for your skin and won't leave you with a nasty greasy feeling.

The 24oz is between $5 and $6 in stores, but this site is charging $7.39 for the 10oz. More for less than half. Save your money and purchase at any local drug store.

I picked up the Vaseline for Men lotion at a Wal-Mart close to where I go to college. I have very sensitive skin and am on an acne regimen that dries the bejesus out of my skin. So I have been looking for a face lotion for a long time now; and for the body too if I need it! For the pretty low price that Wal-Mart had I thought what the heck I will give it a shot. So glad I did!
I will first address the topic that most people seem to have a beef with: the fragrance. Yes this lotion has a scent which may not appeal to everyone. I find it quite pleasant myself. Maybe I just like the spicy smell it has who knows. With the dime sized, probably smaller, blob that I use for my whole face and neck, the scent mellows out within a matter of minutes. Not an issue in my opinion, but I could see how using too much or just the scent at all could deter some people. If you see it in stores, pop open the cap and give it a whiff to decide.
As for it's ability to moisturize, one would think a lotion with fragrance like this one would just wreak havoc on my acne, but I have been using it for a while now and have not had any issues with this surprisingly! The lotion moisturizes very well, and after a couple minutes soaks right into the skin without leaving any greasy residue. I would vouch that not using too much and massaging it in well help with this. Putting it on in the morning it has kept my face nice and soft for the whole day! I can only imagine it would do the same for, well, anywhere else!
All in all, wonderful lotion. I would highly recommend this to anyone who was thinking of giving it a shot. It is pretty cheap in stores and based on my experiences it works great!

The lotion works wonders. It can quickly get rid of dryness in just a few days. It does leave your skin greasy so I would only use it before your going to bed so you don't get everything greasy. It also does not have the best smell to it but you will get use to it after a while.
