This product has worked well with my dark African skin. It removes discolorations around the elbows and knees very well. What I particularly like is the oil. I can shower, then scrub, rinse and not have to apply a boy moisturizer. You can if you like, but I have found that I do not need it. The product has to be used in a circular motion. Take care not too rub too hard for the salt can be painful.
