Effective and ExhilaratingSep 28, 2008
By Jeff I'll make this short because it is indeed only body wash.
I first tried Nivea Energy as a sample that came with my Nivea shaving gel; the minty tingle, nice smell, quick and easy rinsing, and non-drying cleaning sold me straight away.
I really enjoy the sensation created by the mint extracts in the product, provides a subtle tingling sensation while not overwhelming.
The non-drying cleansing is a primary selling point, as it doesn't dry out your skin like so many other body washes tend to do. I've tried some of the other non-drying types but they tend to have floral or "feminine" scents that I don't care for. Not on me that is.
At 16.9 ounces it is a comparatively good value for the price, especially with the subscribe and save option.

Cleansing wash with no drying effectAug 22, 2008
By The Barrington Garage I've generally been a bar soap user, and can't say I've tried lots of body washes. I found the Nivea for Men Energy Wash offers effective cleansing with the added benefit of leaving your skin feeling nourished and moisturized. The fragrance is pleasant enough, with a pronounced mint component, but it's not likely to "wow" your senses or provide an "energy" boost, as the hype seems to suggest.
I also tried the wash in the bath, and found it didn't leave a ring in the tub like regular soap. That's a definite bonus.
If you're looking for refreshing cleansing without drying out your skin, Nivea for Men Energy Body Wash fits the bill.

Great fresh scentJan 15, 2009
By Daniel R. Streett This Nivea product really packs a punch. It has a very strong, almost overpowering, scent when you put it on. Very fresh--as the name suggests, it does seem to have the aromatherapeutic effect of energizing you. It is, therefore, a great choice for those who, like me, are not morning people. It'll wake you up!

Another Great Nivea ProductAug 16, 2008
By choiceweb0pen0 I've been using some of Nivea for Men's other products for several years including their shaving cream and after shave balm, so I was happy they have decided to sell body wash in the US. Like any other personal care products, Men's body wash has quite a lot of hype from certain brands like Axe and Old Spice to name a few that in many cases adds up to fairly expensive liquid soap in a bottle.
Nivea for Men Energy Body Wash has a pleasant smell. Mint is an unusual fragrance, but it manages with other fragrances to smell masculine. It rinses fine leaving the skin feeling clean. The 16.9 oz is larger than other brands, so it will last quite a while. I have sensitive, oily, and sweaty skins so I usually prefer soap that includes glycerin, something that as far as I could tell, was not included in this body wash ingredients. So far though, I don't think it has bothered my skin. I plan to try some of Nivea's other body wash varieties.

Accurate product packaging descriptionAug 02, 2008

Does what it claims. Very nice mint smell--now I understand why women want perfumed baths. More refreshing than a soap wash--truly feel more energetic. Accurate packaging product description.
New use for this product:
Beard hair mixed with shaving foam and gels and even soap become clogged in and are very difficult to rinse away from multi-blade razors. This product works great for shaving, I suspect because it is highly lubricant and non-foaming, such that the multiblade razors don't become clogged.
