This product feels just like you'd imagine, a bit of oil on your face to make the blade glide smoothly across it. Allows for a much smoother shave than just with shaving soap or creme alone, and also extends the life of your blades as there is less friction on your skin. This and the Proraso Pre-Shave creame are the two best pre-shave oils/lotions you can buy. Proraso has the strong menthol scent, this oil has only a slight musky scent.

This classic pre-shave oil has a muted scent and works wonderfully under the shaving soap of your choice. Makes an incredible difference in the quality and comfort of your straight razor shave, particularly if you have a relatively thin beard which you need to shave daily.
A drop on your blade after it has been rinsed & dried will help prevent rust spots even in the most unforgiving environments.

I was given this as a gift.
It's a pretty nice pre-shave oil, very good value for money!
Has quite a masculine scent of peppermint and eucalyptus, it certainly is not scent free as advertised.
As for how well it works, pretty well, not as nice to use as the stuff from the Art of Shaving, but this bottle will go a lot further. It does feel a little more greasier on the hands in comparison to the above product, but it works well on your face.
