I have Gillette Fat Boy. It's 50 years old and I want it to last another 50. Having this case to protect it should help! Great Price for this item. Quality is first rate. This case also should be able to handle larger razors with longer handles too.

bought this for hubby since he's traveling so much lately, and it is what it says it is. It's fairly plain, and just barely big enough for his safety razor. Only word of warning - some airports TSA agents have given him grief trying to carry his razor in his carry-on, even though it is technically allowed!

The leather is very thick and it has a cloth lining inside to protect the razor from being scuffed by the snap on closure. However, the cloth lining is very thin and my Merkur Model 178 Classic Safety Razor, Straight tore a hole where the snap on is, rendering the protection pretty much useless. This was after about 3 months of usage. The leather is starting to crack in certain parts where it folds, but it's still in usable condition. Overall, it's a good pouch for a safety razor, but it could be improved.

I bought this so I could travel with my Merkur Model 180 Long Handled Safety Razor without having to take it apart to keep it from cutting other items in my travel kit. That Merkur 180 fits in it perfectly, and it is well protected. Definitely worth it, as I can finally throw out the last of the old Gilette Mach Power Series I was using to travel with.
