I was dumb enough to buy a 12-pack of this cream because of the price.
This was a waste of my money! I tried the cream out and it dried out quickly, dried my skin and did a tiny bit more than nothing when I shaved -- I felt weak afterwards from all of the weeping blood loss (the cream dried my skin out so much that although I didn't cut myself I bled because the cream wasn't moisturizing the skin enough and shaving was like scraping a sharp piece of metal across my skin!).
(BTW -- I used a mixture of tap water and bottled water when whipping up the lather).
Take my advice and skip this stuff in favor of the Proraso Shave soap. A couple of bucks more, but oh so gentle on the skin.

I just got this Razor and wow its cheaper built than I expected it to be. But For the price you cant complain too much. Bought this with a 100 pack of derby razors to try out straight razor shaving, Fusion Refills got way to expesive. Figured if I like it I can upgrade to a better refillable straight razor or Maybe even a Real one. Buy one of theise if you want to try out Straight shaving, Its cheap but its not much to loose, this with 100 Razors cost the same as buying a 6 pack of refills..

I could not get the razor blade to fit without major structural ajustments which should not have been necessary. I even took it to a beauty supply store for help and no one could get a razor to fit the handle.

After each use, get rid of the blade, then wash, dry, and oil the razor's metal parts. This slows down rust. The razor is easily worth the price, I have not regretted buying it.

This razor provides the closeness of a straight razor without stropping or honing. My only issue is that at times the blade seems too loose. But there is no impact on shaving.
