I bought this, thinking that I would hone it myself. If you have never honed a blade, it is not easy. The point of honing, is to swipe the blade on the stone over and over and over again, at the exact same angle as before. Once you change the angle, you may have just blunted the edge that you were just creating. Remember razor sharp is very very very ... sharp.
If you buy this, get it honed by someone who knows how to do it (unless you know already).
